Fear Naught. Words chosen for the brave men and women of the Royal Tank Regiment who risk their lives in service of their country.

Their mission is to protect our children.

Our mission is to protect theirs.

The story of Fear Naught is the story of Corporal Lee Scott. Lee was a member of the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment and knew the words Fear Naught well. Lee was born in Ely and grew up in King’s Lynn, Norfolk. He joined the Army at the age of 19 and one year later was accepted into the 2nd Royal Tank Regiment, where he excelled. He was promoted to Lance Corporal in 2005 and three years later, aged just 25, was selected to become a Tank Commander; unheard of for someone so junior. He was later promoted to Corporal, and in 2009 commanded a team taking part in Operation Panther’s Claw, where he led from the front.

During the operation, on the morning of Friday 10th July 2009, Lee was killed in an explosion just north of Nad-e Ali, Helmand province. He was 26 years old.

He left behind his wife, Nikki, and their two young children – five-year-old son, Kai, and 7-month-old daughter, Brooke. Nikki wanted to make sure no family ever had to endure what they went through and set up the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers in Lee’s memory.

Fear Naught is owned and operated by Scotty's Little Soldiers and 100% of our profits allow us to support bereaved military children and young people around the UK through an effective combination of practical, emotional and educational support.

Lee embodied the words of the Royal Tank Regiment and was always pushing himself that little bit further, working that little bit harder, being that little bit more. This is the Fear Naught mindset.
